[Samsung's latest pair of wireless earbuds](https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/08/11/samsung-unveils-galaxy-buds2-with-noise-canceling-and-pretty-colors-for-150/) haven't even officially hit the market yet, but ahead of a release this Friday, they're already getting their first software update. A much-needed enhancement to ambient sound and a couple of new options help to make these an even more well-rounded set of buds.

As spotted by [TizenHelp](https://www.tizenhelp.com/galaxy-buds-2-receives-new-features-in-first-update/), the [Galaxy Buds2](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-galaxy-buds2-true-wireless-earbud-headphones-olive/6464283.p?skuId=6464283) are receiving a new update in South Korea. The most significant feature here is the option to enable ambient sound during a phone call.
