The [Pixel 5a](https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/08/17/pixel-5a-5g-review/) has finally been unveiled as Google's newest mid-range phone, and for the most part, it's very, very similar to the [Pixel 4a 5G](https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/08/17/the-pixel-5a-is-official-and-its-a-better-pixel-4a-5g-for-2021/) — at least from the outside. It comes with 5G connectivity, it's powered by the Snapdragon 765G just like the Pixel 4a 5G and even [the flagship Pixel 5](https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/12/19/the-pixel-5-is-our-2020-readers-choice-smartphone-of-the-year/), and it features 6 GB of RAM and a 60Hz panel.
