Google's rumored 1080p Chromecast HD with Google TV may have just swung by the FCC

Google I/O came and went without any new hardware for your TV. And while the latest Chromecast is still competing with the likes of Amazon and Roku, many of us have been waiting with bated breath to see what's next. While a rumored 1080p-capped variant of the Chromecast with Google TV might not be what some potential shoppers were hoping for, it does seem like it's closer than ever to hitting store shelves following a mysterious new device passing through the FCC.
