FCC Certifies a New Pair of Galaxy Buds, Launch Could Happen Sometime in September

It seems like Samsung is gearing up to release a bunch of new devices. A recent rumor pointed out that the Galaxy S23 FE is going to be released next month, and aside from that, the company is also going to release a bunch of Fan Edition tablets, and those will perhaps debut at the same time. Now, a new pair of Galaxy Buds has just passed through the FCC, which gives us a hint that these could debut alongside the rest of the Galaxy devices.

A pair of affordable Galaxy Buds seems like the right idea, along with Fan Edition devices

Now, usually, every time Samsung has a new pair of Galaxy Buds to announce, the announcement usually happens either with the Galaxy Z devices or Galaxy S devices. But since neither of those Galaxy Unpacked saw a new pair of buds, I have a reason to believe that this might not be a sequel but something more affordable.

The new Galaxy Buds carry the model number SM-R400N, and while there is not a lot of detail revealed, we do know for a fact that these support Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy. The new buds were tested using the BudsOdin 2.0 software.

Judging by the lack of information and considering how these earbuds are possibly releasing next month, there is a chance that these are budget offerings just like the Galaxy Buds Live were. I am confident that these are not from the main lineup, and that is fine because Samsung does need to have something for the more budget-minded users as well, and this fits the bill just fine. Whether or not that happens to be the case, we will find out more next month.

Samsung is gearing up to launch a whole bunch of Fan Edition devices, including the S23 FE, a duo of Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and possibly some A series tablets as well, along with these Galaxy Buds. Considering how September is the month rumored for these devices, you can expect a lot of leaks in the coming days, and we will be sure to keep you posted about everything that we learn.
