AMD Aims to Increase Chip Efficiency by 30x by 2025 (Updated)

AMD today announced a bold plan to increase the energy efficiency of its chips by 30x until 2025. The company will have to resort to multiple technologies towards its self-imposed goal of beating the industry's power efficiency increase average by 150%.
