Alaska Airlines has long seen the benefits of [using Apple devices](https://appleinsider.com/articles/13/05/30/alaska-airlines-adds-apple-passbook-support-for-boarding-passes) - as well as the problems [with Samsung phones](https://appleinsider.com/articles/21/08/25/alaska-airlines-flight-evacuated-after-samsung-galaxy-smartphone-combusts). Now it's trialling extensive use of the iPad Pro for its customer-facing operations at Norman Y. Mineta International Airport in San Jose.
