Google’s Upcoming Smartwatch will be Called Pixel Watch 2, Name Finally Confirmed with More to Follow

WccftechIn a surprise discovery a couple of days ago, we realized that Google is working on the Pixel Watch 2, a successor to the original that has been out for some time now. However, at that time, it was just a rumor, and now, to provide a foundation for the rumor, we have some news about the upcoming watch from Google and what it will be called.
The Pixel Watch 2 is indeed real, and we will have our first look at it really soon
According to the renowned leaker Evan Blass, the upcoming smartwatch from Google will be called Pixel Watch 2. This should not come as a surprise because this is a pretty safe guess; however, I would like to address that if Blass has leaked the name of the upcoming smartwatch, we might actually see a couple of renders in the coming time.
Blass took to Twitter and posted a simple image that confirmed the name of Pixel Watch 2. Now, it would be safe to doubt this or take it with a grain of salt, but Blass' reputation has been untouched in the mobile industry, and if he says it's happening, we know for sure that it is happening.
Now, it is worth noting that the Pixel Watch 2 will be unveiled tomorrow alongside the Pixel 8 series and other devices. So, it is obvious that we are going to get a lot more detail later today about Google's upcoming smartwatch.
Sadly, at the time of writing, we cannot really confirm anything about the Pixel Watch 2, but we are hoping that it is an improvement over the original in every single way. Only yesterday, I discussed that Android needs a solid ecosystem like Apple's because it often feels that all the devices are spread apart without having a proper connection to each other. Hopefully, with the new watch, and tablet, Google will be able to bridge that gap and create a proper ecosystem where all these devices can work and communicate without an issue.
The Google Pixel Watch 2 and the rest of the Pixel devices will be unveiled tomorrow at Google I/O 2023. We will be providing you with exclusive coverage about everything that Google has in store for us. So, be sure to stay tuned for more.
